This website (askelventures.com) is operated by Askel Ventures Oy ("Askel", "we", "us"), Business ID 3340587-2, registered in Finland.

This site does not have user accounts, and it does not run tracking or analytics scripts.

We collect personal data only when you give it to us directly — for example, by emailing hello@askelventures.com, or by booking a meeting through the external Google Calendar link on our Contact section. In those cases we receive whatever you share: typically your name, email address, and the content of your message or meeting request.

Our hosting and security provider (Cloudflare) may process standard technical data such as IP address and request logs, purely to keep the site running securely. We do not have access to this beyond aggregate, non-identifying traffic information.

We use the data you share with us to respond to your inquiry, schedule meetings, and — where relevant — to evaluate a potential business relationship (for example, if you're a founder exploring a sale, or an investor interested in our fund).

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising or share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Booking a meeting through our Contact section takes you to Google Calendar, a third-party service governed by Google's own privacy policy. We don't control how Google handles that data.

Links to portfolio companies (such as melers.fi and turunsuurpesula.fi) and to other external sites are provided for convenience; those sites have their own privacy practices.

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected — generally, for the duration of an active conversation or relationship, plus a reasonable period afterward for our own records, unless a longer period is required by law (for example, accounting or contractual obligations).

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to request that your data be provided to you in a portable format.
